Our firm SRS Country Chicken is specialised in breeding and marketing of native breed of chicken to meet the growing demand for the ever tasty meat of native chicken. Our firm established in 2009 preferred “Aseel”, our native chicken breed, which has an aggressive behaviour and peculiar mighty walking style. The “Aseel” breed cocks are traditionally used in “Cock Fights” where permitted. Meat of “Aseel” breed of chicken is preferred by many for its “gamy” flavour.
We have developed stocks of pure breed of “Aseel” with the help of experts specialised in poultry breeding and involved in improving its performance through selective breeding over the last 12 years. We have standardised its management and feed requirements at different ages.
Our founder proprietor has rich experience in poultry farming. Initially, he was engaged in “Broiler Farming” from 1995 to 1998. His business acumen indicated that independent broiler farms were not going to be profitable when contract farming practices by integrators were making roots in late 90’s. So he switched over to alternative farming with less investment by going for “Japanese quail production” in 2000. Though it was thought to be a very risky business, because of his sincerity and total involvement he has proved to be a very successful Japanese quail breeder farmer. After that he established SRS Country Chicken in 2009. He is the Pioneer in intensive rearing of preferred :Aseel” chicken on a commercial scale.
